The Brampton/Bramalea dart league runs a 50/50 draw.
Every month there is a captains meeting, and at that time the captain can submit players who wish to participate (and the cash). This is optional, there is no obligation to play. There are 4 draws (one for each of the previous four weeks). The cost is $1.00 per draw, or $4.00 per month. You can go in as many or as few as you wish. They assign a number to each player, and then when numbers are drawn out of a hat, they match the numbers to the list, and if that’s you….yee haw!. If they draw a number out in draw one, and that person isn’t paid/entered, they move on to draw 2 and that would have the money from both draws 1 and 2. They keep rolling it forward, eventually someone wins.
